Who We Are
Whittaker & Associates is an independent, privately held brokerage firm acting in the capacity of an experienced, trusted advisor to Individual Insurance consumers and as Group Insurance consultants to employer groups and benefits counselors to their valued employees.
As the owner and broker of record for Whittaker & Associates, Evan Whittaker began his insurance career as a Life Insurance agent with Phoenix Mutual in Philadelphia, PA. Subsequently, Evan held positions with several regional and national insurance companies and third party administrators in the capacity of account executive and sales manager. This has provided him with an extensive background and hands on experience in the underwriting, marketing, sales and service of both Group and Individual Insurance plans.
Evan holds an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from Wesley College and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Widener University. A long time resident of Ocean City, NJ, Evan resides with his wife, Elly. Their daughter, Jennifer, a graduate of the University of Delaware (B.S. Mathematics / Economics) is also employed in the insurance industry as a claims examiner for a large third party administration firm.
